The Championship game was intense, unexpected and unprecedented! Caught In The Zipper, the #6 seeded team faced the #2 seeded team, Green Eggs n' Ham in the semi-finals and took them down in a decisive 6-2 victory. Caught In The Zipper then had to square off against the #1 seeded Do You See What Happens Larry? for the championship. Caught In The Zipper got out to an early lead which they never gave up as the defense held on for a narrow 7-6 win!!! The Player Of The Game was Greg Morrill for his double, 2 rbi & 3 clutch out catches! Congrats Caught In The Zipper for an amazing title victory!
In the Championship game it was Caught In The Zipper squaring off against the top seeded team Do You See What Happens Larry?. Caught In The Zipper jumped out to a quick lead in the first inning and were unwilling to give "Larry" any room to breathe. Just when "Larry" would start to string a couple hits together it was the clutch defense of Greg Morrill from Caught In The Zipper which would put that inning to bed with little to no damage done. Greg had a nice double and was responsible for 2 of the 7 rbi's, but he made his real mark on the game with 3 huge clutch catches for outs to kill innings along with any chance for the #1 seed to come back. Caught In The Zipper held on for a final 7-6 victory to take home the title! Congrats Caught In The Zipper and Greg Morrill, Player Of The Week!!!
