Graham Lee

Ground Rule Trouble

What a "Cruz-esk" performance! Graham earns this week's Player of the Week by going 5-5 with 7 RBI as his team, Ground Rule Trouble, won big against the Arbornauts 17-8 in another classic battle between these veteran teams. GRT had to come back early, allowing 6 runs in the first inning, and poured it on in the middle innings as Graham launched a base-clearing triple in the 6th run 4th inning to put them ahead for good. Congrats Graham!

Scott Marti wins it in the bottom of thre 7th!

Ground Rule Trouble wins in dramatic fashion!

In the last game of the day it was Ground Rule Trouble squaring off against Hitmen and it was a nail biter! This game had five lead changes in 7 innings of play with both sides flashing the leather on defense and showing some pop at the plate. In the end Ground Rule Trouble went into the bottom of the 7th inning down by 1 run, but the timely hitting by Scott Marti proved to be the difference as he drove in 2 runs to give Ground Rule Trouble the walk-off victory 13-12! What a great start to the season. Congratulations to Ground Rule Trouble on the dramatic win and to Scott Marti the opening day's Player Of The Week!!!
