We wouldnt even be talking about Unusual SPare or Slammers I. But this is Underdog, and we love talking about teams ont he cusp of greatness. This past Monday, both Unusual Spare and The Slick Lane Hookers had the opportunity to take out #1, the Top Dog, the Big Kanhuna, aka the PinPals. But the Pinpals would have none of it as they continued their regular season dominance in the playoffs and secured the illustrious Top Gun, er Underdog First place Trophy.
216....Thats all that needs to be said. Paul Ng bowled a 216 in the playoffs, showing that big time players, make big time plays, in big time games. Paul and the rest of his PinPals capped an impressive season with two playoff wins and an Underdog Championship.
