This week's player of the week goes to Rachel Nelson of The Pegglers. Rachel made a huge catch in right field that saved at least 3 runs in a close game against the determined Leadavores. By making that huge catch, the Pegglers came out vicotorious and Glenn was able to make the last out of the game. This is important because w/o Rachel's catch, Glenn would have, one, never made the last out and lastly, never would have blessed us all w/the quote of the evening:) Great hustle out there Rachel.....and thanks Glenn for your entertaining words.
This week's player of the week goes to Heather Hazen of The Pegglers. Heather, who is the captain, the head honcho, the big cheese, the commander and chief of The Pegglers, has been a bit under the weather these last couple of games, but managed to put mind over matter and kicked a deep one for a homerun against the Head Hunters. Her homerun gave her team a spark that they were looking for. Shortly after her homer, the Pegglers went on a run and scored 4 more. Even though they lost, Heather kept her spirts high. We could all learn a little something from this Kickballer. Great job Heather!
This week's player of the week goes to Mark Barret of the Pegglers. There's no doubt that this gentleman can kick the ball. During his game against Mike's Hard Lemonade, he homered twice scoring multiple runs. On his last homerun, despite his teammates desperate pleas to stop at third, Mark ignored the pleas and headed for home. It was a close play, but Mark was safe. Great job out there, Mark. And maybe next time, even though your were safe this time, Consider listening to your teammates;)
