It was a solid playoff run for Boom, as they cruised through the semi-finals and in the championship game as well. In the semi's JP LaFontanie led the way with three touchdowns, including a pick-6, in a 34-24 victory. In the finals, it was the defensive excellence of Dillon Rose. Dillon had an incredible FOUR interceptions in the Championship Game, leading Boom to a 40-24 victory over Caught Looking.
Dillon Rose was the Legion of Boom all by himself on Sunday. In the Championship Game, Boom faced the high powered offense of Caught Looking and Rose single-handedly made the difference. Dillon had four interceptions, leading Boom to a 40-24 victory, and the championship.
While the drizzling rain on Sunday afternoon lacked any thunder, Dan Popoff brought it for Boom, leading them to a 29-22 victory over Unsinkable Friend Ships. Dan led a ground attack, scoring three rushing TDs, and intercepted on defense.
