Our player of the week this week comes to us from the team Unprotected Sets. She has great banter both on and off the court while never taking her eye off the ball! Ashley Broadwell is in the spotlight this week for her ability to always be there for the ultimate spikes. She is always there when needed, watches the ball with diligence, stayed fluid on the court and was able to communicate really well with her team! Starting off their second game with a 7 point lead she spiked the team's way to their win. Amazing job this week Ashley!!
Meagan was a little spitfire on the court tonight with many dives and a nasty serve. Within the first 10 points of game one Meagan threw herself on the court in pursuit of the ball. When her teammate pointed out that she didn't have knee pads she quickly demonstrated how she was diving on her hips instead. Then on the back line she threw out many wicked serves that gained her team some much needed points. Though they didn't all go over,she gave her 110% all the way.
