Late Summer Co-ed Beach Volleyball at Alki Wednesdays

With the grace of a gazelle, Ron Kubalanza dominated on opening night at Alki. When Ron set a ball or was set up to spike a ball, it was like the ball was a mortar over Lake Union on the 4th of July, waiting to be detonated and converted into an amazing display of both power and grace. The spikes from the Sand Ninjas were explosive and turned their opponent, Prost!, into spectators watching the fireworks.

Her opponents never had a chance. Latoya's general court dominance, featuring elegant sets and shocking digs, was merely a facade to the foundation of her powers and the team's morale: namely, her shorts. They're the coolest. Want some? Too bad...reserved for POTW!

With record breaking temperatures in the Seattle area, you would think it would be a perfect night to wear your bikini to Alki beach to play some sand volleybal,but not for Belinda. Some would say she gave the spectators and opponents quite the show when her bikini top came loose. Luckily she caught it pretty quick but still let everyone know as she said, "WHOA NAKED!" Thanks Belinda for having a great attitude on behalf of your teammates and opponents entertainment for the night!

Blake Webb has always been known as a warrior. On Wednesday night, with the playoffs underway, he was not going let his team be denied entry into the semi-finals next week. Blake played with great effort, diving all over the court, accumulating more and more sand throughout the night, leaving no doubt that he definitely took some of the beach home with him.
