Underdog theme nights often inspire wacky outfits, and occasionally great player performances...this Thursday night proved to be no different. Described as artful and balletic by his fellow teammates, Twinkle-toed Travis of the Seattle Slingers bowled an impressive 5 strikes in a row. When asked about the secret to his success Travis attributed all his success to his bowling shoes!

And of course, we can't forget an honorable mention for a few of the fabulous headdresses donned out on the lanes. It just wouldn't have been Big Hat night without the Kentucky derby floppy hat, the tiger-print football helmet and the over-sized foam cowboy hats.

The POTW award is shared this week by teammates Tyler and Dana! They were both instrumental in bringing Championship t-shirts to Balls of Fury! In the first playoff game, Tyler owned the lanes with 5 strikes in a row! His big turkey gave Balls of Fury the confidence and points to enter into the final match. In the champs game, Dana came out of nowhere to bowl the game of her life! She had 4 strikes in a row, including two in the 10th frame! Her lifetime high of 171 clinched the win for Balls of Fury! Well damn done, Tyler and Dana!
