Spring Kickball at Ballard Playfield Sundays

Mollie showed veteran skills in her first kickball game.
She constantly challenged the opposing kickers to bring it her way...and every time she made them pay by snaring their flyballs.

Down by 2 in the bottom of the 5th, Dave Hall stepped to the plate and delivered a grand slam. It would be all his team needed to stay ahead for good, and make Cher proud.

Putnam, a long time veteran of Underdog Kickball, put together two solid games. After cutting edge surgery, using the latest rocket science materials, replaced his right foot with titanium peg... Andrew led his Cajones into a tie for first place with some gutsy defense and clutch corner kicking.
In his midcore match again he led the way with his pitching and big boots for Das Boot.

The Turkey Snazzlers made their hardcore debut this Sunday at Ballard Playfields, just in time for the playoffs. A little outmanned and outgunned, the Snazzlers were given a crash course in hardcore rules and playing style, being on the wrong end of more than one grand slam. But it was the play of the Snazzler's "Herpe" Joe that turned heads. Designated the pitcher, Joe spent a half inning sticking to his midcore routine of soft, slow, and low, until watching the other teams' pitches. By the second inning, Joe turned up the heat, hurling all kinds of nasty stuff, so much so that he even registered a handful of strikeouts, a difficult task even in hardcore. Joe also seemed to making plays all over the field in an effort to keep his team in it. By the end of the game, he was even receiving compliments on his pitching from longtime hardcore particpants See You At Recess Bitches. The Snazzlers may not have won this one, but Joe showed a lot of promise as a future hardcore leaguer.
