Brady F. starts the season off as the POTW. Brady was a one man wrecking crew at the plate kicking 2 triples, both were standup triples knocking in plenty of runs. Brady also showed mid-season form from the mound pitching a gem and racking up plenty of outs for his squad. With Brady's performance on both offense and defense he is hands down the Player of the Week!

Krystal Tanis
Manhandlers
Krystal T. is this weeks POTW for her outstanding defensive play at short-stop. Krystal was a one-woman wrecking crew on the left side of the field racking up numerous outs. Krystal caught everything kicked in her direction, and also showed off exceptional arm strength with lasers thrown to 1st base on infield plays. Krystal also went 4 for 4 at the plate and helped her squad score game winning runs.

Nick Funaro
Katie and Friends
Nick F. is this weeks POTW for his excellent defense pitching in a 4 to 5 victory. Nick served up pitches on the uneven terrain, and racked up outs making multiple outs for his squad. Nick got a total workout with the constant movement in the middle of the field making plays left and right. Nick's footwork was exceptional and many of the onlookers took notice to his phenomenal skills. Great job Nick.

Eric Epperson
WHERE MY PITCHES AT?!
Eric E. stepped up his game this week by not just coaching, but playing. Eric E. fresh off the IR took the field with a bit of hesitation due to a recent hamstring problem, but it did not affect his very successful game. Eric kicked 2 grand-slams in a high scoring win. Eric also showed lots of range at first-base with long stretches racking up outs, and showing no signs of injury. Great game Eric!

Jen S.
Heavily Faulted
Jen's pitching was vital to Heavily Faulted picking up their first victory of the season. The score-line just doesn't accurately reflect how she really pitched in the game. He team built an early lead as her pitching kept Kickin' It Old School at bay through the first 5 innings. With the lead fairly secure, she started pitching to the score and gave up some runs towards the end when Heavily Faulted had the game firmly in hand.

Courtney Porter
Heavily Faulted
Courtney P. spent the game sending the opposing kickers to the bench with her ability to catch everything. Low, hard, high left, right it didn't matter Courtney chased them all down and made out after out. Courtney was no slouch at the plate either racking numerous RKI's along with a homer. With Courtney's excellent offense and defense she earns this weeks POTW. Great game Courtney.
In the tightest game of the night Purple Reign left the field Winners and advancing in the playoffs. Both squads were super fun, and both made outstanding plays, but Purple reign pulled it out with solid defense. The Reign were able to convert 3 double plays with bases heavily occupied getting out of a couple of jams which was the difference in the game. Purple Reign also showered the field with solid kicks and bunts and snuck out with a nail-biting victory. Great job to the whole team!
Josh's pitching kept two teams at bay on Wednesday. After giving up 6 runs in the first game against Drunk and Looking to Score, he turned up the dial a little. His pitching was integral in keeping Where My Pitches At? to only 1 run over 7 innings.
In a game that featured a ton of offense, it was Brian's defense that really stood out. In the fifth inning Brian made an amazing catch that still has people talking, trapping the ball against his ankle for an out just as Purple Reign was threatening.
