Sweeping an opening day doubleheader put the whole league on notice the the Adversity Overcomes are a team to be feared this season. And Brian was a huge part of the double victory. He had some great digs ovèr at first base along with some great reflexes grabbing line drives. But Brian's biggest contribution come at the plate where he hit 3 home runs and racked up over 7 hits during the 2 games. Great way to start the season!

Putting up 20 runs becomes easy when you have a player who hits multiple homers, and that's exactly what Eric M. Eric blasted the ball all game on his way to a close win, and earns this weeks honors as POTW for his solid hitting. Eric was solid on defense, but nobody was talking about that it was all the show he put on at the plate that created a buzz. Great game Eric!

Mike C. and the Red Machine played in a nail-biter in the first game of the day. The score went back and forth and went down to the wire in the 7th inning with a 20 to 19 final. It was Mike's defense that nailed the game shut with his game ending out giving his squad a "W". Mike also helped out at the plate knocking in very valuable runs. Great game Mike!
