Throughout the playoffs on this picture perfect Seattle day, all the games were hotly contested without a single blowout win. The parody of the talent level at Paramount has been remarkable, and naturally the championship game was no exception. As the top seeded Twist faced off against the third seeded Seattle Shaggy Muskrats you could tell that this was going to be a great match-up. Twist jumped out to an early 4-0 lead, but Seattle Shaggy Muskrats answered right back to tie it up. After some back and forth and all tied up going into the bottom of the 6th inning, Twist was able to break the tie scoring 3 crucial runs and then holding on in the final inning for an impressive 11-9 victory to take home the title and Underdog Softball Champs shirts! Sandra from Twist went a perfect 4-for-4 from the plate and was a steady offensive force which earns her Player of the Week honors!
