They're Baaacckkk

Awkward Palm Trees has done it again. They flaunted their talents all season long and had a great time doing it. Awkward Palm Trees has the perfect blend of competitiveness and unity. There are no selfish players on this team. They root and cheer for one another when things go right. And they lift up and encourage when things go south.

In the Championship game, Awkward Palm Trees played another powerhouse team that could light up the score board. But Awkward Palm Trees proved to be the more dominant team once again with their high octane offense and incredible defense. They had no care for their well-being as they competed for every free ball, diving to the ground to pop up even the most difficult to reach balls. But they do it for the win... they do it for each other.

Awkward Palm Trees pulled out the win going 2-1. Awkward Palm Trees keep coming back every season and prove to be one of the most dominant teams Underdog has.

Another great championship win for one of our greats, Awkward Palm Trees. Well done!

Underdog Softcore Champions
Perfect Season

Post-Call Or Drunk came into the league with two things on their mind. Have fun and win while doing it. There was not a single moment when you looked over at their games that Post-Call or Drunk was not laughing. They truly enjoyed each others company and even that of their opponents who had no answer to defeat them.

Post-Call Or Drunk took the number 1 seed after finishing the regular season without a blemish. And they continued the roll all throughout playoffs as they ended up winning the Softcore Championships.

If they decide to jump up to Midcore then the division better watch out because Post-Call or Drunk even beat a Midcore team on the way to the playoffs.

As Post-Call or Drunk dons their new Underdog Champs shirt, they will be celebrating all the way to the next season. Great job Post-Call or Drunk!

  Notorious D.I.G.

Midcore Underdog Volleyball Champions
The Underdog Way

Notorious D.I.G. was the reigning Softcore champions coming into this season. They decided to take the challenge of trying out their game in the Midcore division. The light was not looking so bright starting in the regular season. Notorious D.I.G. boasted a very underwhelming 1-5 record headed into the playoffs. The road was only going to get tougher.

Notorious D.I.G. only had one thing on their mind and that was to just let it all hang out when they play in the playoffs. And that they did as there was no pressure being the underdog of the playoffs. Their first matchup against Liquid Courage seemed like a breeze as Notorious D.I.G. won 2-0 to move on to the semis. Facing the number 1 seeded Blockaritas, Notorious D.I.G. again had nothing to lose. Notorious D.I.G. has always had the talent but never really put it all together until they met the Blockaritas in the playoffs. The guys used their height and athleticism to dominate the net on offense and defense. The ladies were even more impressive as they displayed incredible passing and digging abilities. As a whole, they were in-sync all night long covering ground and holes.

Notorious D.I.G. may have had a rocky start but it took all of those losses to develop into a strong cohesive unit. Come next season, it's clear that Notorious D.I.G. will be one of the top teams to play.

Great job Notorious D.I.G.
