7SE and friends!

Professor Snape, Walter White and Professor Sherman Klump were all great teachers from our history. We can add Sam Hindman to that group. The one thing that Sam has over those three though, is that they were all assholes on a kickball field. We can confirm that Sam is a grrreeeeaaatt guy.

On Tuesday, Sam took on double duty as the first baseman for his team, but also the base coach for his opponents. For many of the runners coming through first base, Sam would be helping them out with which base to run through, when to tag up, when to hold and where to stand.

That type of sportsmanship is what sets Sam apart from the others. Thanks for helping to teach kickball!

Ruben needs a set of new pants! His base running this week propelled to a come back win for 7SE and friends! as they went down 3 runs in the top of the first. Ruben was aggressive on the base paths and behind the plate as the team’s catcher. His textbook slide into third base ensured a clutch inning continued! His play was the momentum setter that helped 7Se and friends! score 7 runs.

Kickelob Ultra notches their first win.

Kickelob Ultra got the monkey off their back, as they scored their first win of the season on Tuesday. The night got off to a disappointing start, as they lost 10-6 to Feelin 22s in game 1 of their doubleheader. But the extra practice made all the difference in game 2. Kickelob score 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th, winning the game 7-5.

2 Out Wonders

Kick’s Nuggets aren’t going to the championship but they showed up in style during week 1 of the playoffs! John pitched for the first time ever and completed 13 of the 14 innings played. In their victory, Kick’n Nuggets scored all but one of their runs with two outs in the inning. They had some dynamic plays in the field and took a 3-0 lead with no outs in their second game. We’re excited to see them play in the next Underdog kickball season!
