With a team as connected and linked as Raptor Death Monkeys, when something happens to one team member it happens to all. Jorge is the middle on this team and has a big presence on overall team spirit with his boisterous claps that get a rally going! During the match Jorge had a small scare when he rolled his ankle during a play. The entire team was worried and were off their game. With Jorge's encouragement and assuring the team he was ok, Jorge and RDM were able to win the second game. Congrats to Jorge and RDM for an overall team effort!

This week Ryan showed up to play! His team Sets on the beach had a tough match up against the veteran team of Damaged Goods. Ryan and his team were ready to rise to the challenge and work as a team to make it a close match! All while Ryan didn't even look like he broke a sweat! Ryan's hustle and mean spikes kept the game close and helped keep his teams spirits high! Regardless of either the front row or back Ryan was a force to be reckoned with and made it tough night for Damaged Goods! Great job Ryan!

With several close match-ups this week, Murphy's team and Sets on the beach was a nail biter! With both teams playing strong and scrappy and the rally's long it took every once of teamwork to reign in the win for Murphy's team! A big help in the W was Evan! He was a consistent player in both the front and back row! He was always there to step in on a bad pass or spike the ball down on third hit! Evan Mr. Consistency Chinn is a power house and it showed tonight! Congrats!

Most newer teams may be thrown off with the early game and tons of traffic but the Indy team came ready to play! With the team starting to gel and positions set! Chase helped his team to victory in multiple positions- setter and middle! Even if the ball was off the net Chase still wanted to make it a solid hit and went after everything that came his way! With their first sweep of the season, Chase and the team are really looking good and hoping to finish the season strong!!

That was no problem for Megan as she cranked about 10 aces throughout the match! With Megan's serving runs, Damaged Goods was able to work as a team to communicate who would take over the missing spot! Great work Megan!
