Summer Softcore Kickball in Everett Tuesdays

This was Malima's first week playing kickball. He was very excited to participate in the game and was a great presence for everybody around him with how he played the game. He found some of the rules difficult but has made a point to get out to a Mariners or Aquasox game so that he can understand baseball and kickball a little better. Malima went 2-3 and after one of his great kicks made everyone laugh by standing at home plate admiring his kick. Later on he was playing centerfield when a flyball came his way. A teammate was also nearby and the two collided as the ball came down. Malima was the first one to reach the ball however and came down with the catch even with the collision. Malima was a fun individual for everyone to be around and I know we all hope he will come out and play again.

A new player for TnT, Steve "Buns" Foraker was a pest behind the plate. He times a running start to get to bunts so well that he came away with too many putouts to remember. At the plate, Steve went 4-5, showing off a strong leg as if he had never left the game after all those lost years he spent away. We hope that Steve's emergence out of the shadows will shed light on another mystery surrounding him; why the heck is his nickname "buns"? Steve could be a big help for TnT as they look for a championship in the upcoming playoffs. Congratulations Steve on being this weeks Player of the Week!

David Noble of No Muntz is the Player of the Week this week. In No Muntz's win over Tequila Mockingbird in the semifinals, David contributed greatly with a game breaking bases loaded triple and three other hits to pace the offense. As the captain's spouse, sometimes you may feel some undue pressure from others to perform at a high level. David performed greatly and for his performance is the Player of the Week this week. Congratulations!
