Late Summer Co-ed Beach Volleyball at Alki Wednesdays

Noah was part of a dynamic duo with Alex D tonight wrecking havoc on their opposing team. Any ball that Noah and Alex saw come up was sure to be crashing down on the other side. Sand In My Pants gave them the nickname of "Bashing Bros," which fit perfectly in this case. Nothing could stop them tonight and this high powered offense keep trucking through this league behind the Bashing Bros!

What a performance Kinky Sets displayed tonight! They showed the true meaning of what it meant to be an Underdog. Kinky Sets were enthusiastic, encouraging, and just flat out fun. Unfortunately they couldn't pull out the win tonight but that did not stop them from having the player of the week in Cassie. Cassie was a phenomenal piece for the Kinky Sets as she was able to provide strong net play. She was able to locate the ball to the open spots away from the opposing blockers. Cassie was a key part in keeping the Kinky Sets in the game all night. Look out! Because the Kinky Sets look to be turning the corner on their way into playoffs

Ghosts of John Denver's Ghost showed great improvement the final weeks of the season. Though the season as a whole was a bit disappointing, Emily was a constant light of hope. This week Emily showed what Ghosts of John Denver's Ghost can do with just a little more time. Her passes were incredible, getting the ball to the setter and to the other side when need be. She was able to track any ball down while covering the back of the court. Emily had a sense of calmness to her the whole time, but her play showed what kind of talent and fight she possesses. Great job Emily! Keep those fingers crossed for the playoffs!
