Kim Tracy
CRC's Recess Renegades
Player of the Week Kim Tracy decided to spend her birthday playing some kickball and ended up celebrating a victory as well. From her well placed kicks to her amazing catches in the outfield, the Renegades would of been lost if Kim decided to take the game off and celebrate. Lucky for them she didn't. Great game Kim and Happy Birthday too!

Brandon Koga
ClearPoint
No other player was more deserving of player of the week honors than Brandon Koga for various reasons. No matter the situation Brandon always seem to have a smile on his face. He provided great kicking skills at the plate, but it was his locked down defense is what secured him the honors. Brandon was playing the hot corner where it seemed he was making at least one spectacular play per inning. His defensive prowess had his opponents rethinking their kicking strategy. Warning to future ClearPoint opponents do not kick the ball Brandon's way.

Michael Read
Indy #K7
This week, Mike showed everyone what it takes to be an excellent kickball player. From his stellar defense on the field to the great enthusiasm and motivation he showed his team, Mike was an all-star. Not to mention his massive day at the plate. He racked up 2 home runs and 5 RBIs with his booming leg. Impressive day at the diamond Mike!!
Sara used her superb pitching skills to keep the opponent off balance throughout the entire game, limiting them to only 4 runs. She also had a rally ending double play that was a real key to this victory. On offense, she used her precision bunting skills to get on base every time she came to the plate and scored 3 runs to boot. Nice work Sara!

Darin Pope
ClearPoint
In what may have been the most competitive game in Underdog Kickball history, there were many worthy candidates for player of the week honors that came out of this game including the player of the game, Ryan Hanson or Keagan Rogers who may have the play of the year when he flew from Right Center Field to cover the Left Center Fielder running up the hill towards the fence and leaping making an over the wrong shoulder catch to save at least two runs. But in the end, the award came down to the constistent and stellar play of Darin who had at least 5 relay put outs that saved many runs including a hustle play at home plate where he received an errant throw and at the last possible second threw the ball and nailed a sliding would be run scorer to keep the game tied. This game went into extra innings with the deciding run being scored inthe bottom of the 9th inning.

Ben Peters
Beer View Mirrors
Ben of Beer View Mirrors had an all-star day. Ben carried the defense in the outfield by making catch after catch, robbing Kicks and Giggles many hits. He also had an AMAZING kick into the outfield that he stretched into a triple and scored in a run. Ben could put on a Kickball clinic if he wanted to, but I'm sure due to certain stipulations in his contract, you will just have to appreciate the show he gives during the game.
Frenchy as he's known on the field was the saints main driving force this week in the saints double header. Bryan drove in 8 runs in game one off two grand salamis. and was the emotional force that kept them in game two up until the end. Good job Frenchy.

Freshman tore up the muddy field on Tuesday hitting two over the fence and driving in 7 runs. His great game also translated to the pitching mound where he contributed to the team W. great job freshman on a perfect game.
Susan had a stellar game this week after the long weekend. Susan was able to get on base four times whilst doing cartwheels and handstands in the field. Than she was able to get an unassisted double play by breathing fire on the field. Good job this week Susan.

Tony Hynes
The Blitzers
Tony earned Player of the Week with his exceptional all-around play this week. He excelled in all phases of the game. From his outstanding pitching to his key kicks at the plate, Tony brought his A-game. Great job Tony!
You can make a case that all the players on Kicks and Giggles deserved player of the week, but it was Anthony Brown's clutch play that won him the honors. With his team's playoff life on life support, trailing by two runs in the seventh inning, Anthony Brown stepped to plate with the bases loaded. Anthony was able to live out a childhood dream by kicking a grand slam by belting the ball over the fence. Anthony's kick gave his team, Kicks and Giggles, the lead for good that knocked off the mighty number one seed ClearPoint. If Anthony and the rest of Kicks and Giggles continue playing like they did tonight all the other teams in the playoffs should watch out.
Caitlin goes by many names, coach, captain and now player of the week. During both crucial playoff games, Caitlin contributed some huge kicks to drive in some critical runs. She also impressively booted a triple to deep left field. In addition, Caitlin turned in some sterling defense at third base. Great games and see you in the championship game!
Michael's performance in his team's final game, will be talked about all off-season. For starters, he played lock down defense at first base, snagging any and everything that came his way. But at the plate was where Michael really shined. His second at bat he crushed a solo shot to left, putting his team on the board. Next time up he booted one in the exact same spot for another home run. This time driving in 2. Congrats on the game and a great season!
