Even more shocking than watching Stephanie get eliminated from Survivor, was seeing George Torres garner player of the week honors this past Thursday. Okay, in all seriousness, George had the best week of all of our great spring league bowlers and very deserving of the POTW honors. The Gutter Sluts appear to be on their way to another run at the championship and if they can get more performances like George's they might just take the title of Spring League Champions.

This week the Big Turkey is giving POTW honors to the bowler known simply as Axe. Axe had solid back to back rounds leading the Fiercely Demented Psycho Pandas to victory. When asked about the great performance, Axe was quoted as saying "All I coukl think about was trying to win a Red Hook".

On a night where the Red Hook was flowing a little more than usual, one guy without much of a hook on his bowling stroke managed to garner player of the week honors. Mike Bond led the way for Here for Beer in a total team effort on the way to victory.
