Entering the playoffs as the 4 seed, SBC had to face some tough competition along the way to win the championship.
In their first round match-up, they played Crosswired who had given them one of their closest games of the season earlier. They made it no easier on SBC this time, keeping it close as SBC squeezed out a 6 point victory.
In the second round, they faced up against the number 1 seed Back That Pass Up. BTPU had improved greatly since the two met up earlier in the season. They delivered the second straight close match-up for SBC and this one came down to the wire and a close 5 point win.
In the championship, they matched up against perennial contender Justice League. JL had just rolled past a tough Work in Progress team in the previous round and had their sights set on the title. SBC got out to a quick start though and never looked back, finishing off JL and taking the title with a 52-32 win.

In a great game between two solid teams, Diary Queen Bombers and No Punt Intended, the Championship game did not disappoint. Both teams entered the game with great offenses that were clicking in both their previous games, but DQ possessed the edge on defense. The final score ended up 41 to 28, as DQ Bombers QB was able to dissect the defense and find the endzone at will. While putting up the 41 points, the defense did their part holding No Punt Intended to 28 points and were able to control the game early. Diary Queen Bombers have been a work in progress and improved every week, and their efforts are now awarded with the title League Champs. Great game to both teams for a great season, and Great work bombers on a big victory in the Championship game!
