Entering the playoffs as the 4 seed, SBC had to face some tough competition along the way to win the championship.
In their first round match-up, they played Crosswired who had given them one of their closest games of the season earlier. They made it no easier on SBC this time, keeping it close as SBC squeezed out a 6 point victory.
In the second round, they faced up against the number 1 seed Back That Pass Up. BTPU had improved greatly since the two met up earlier in the season. They delivered the second straight close match-up for SBC and this one came down to the wire and a close 5 point win.
In the championship, they matched up against perennial contender Justice League. JL had just rolled past a tough Work in Progress team in the previous round and had their sights set on the title. SBC got out to a quick start though and never looked back, finishing off JL and taking the title with a 52-32 win.
The player of the week honors go to Gustavo M. for his multiple game changing plays in a high scoring game. With the final score ending up 46 to 38 it was Gustavo who helped his team edge out the opponent. Gustabo had 2 TD's alog with a PAT, and also helped on defense with a INT. Great game Gustavo, and good win SBC Mother Packers!
