This weeks player of the week goes to Jerome and his productive glove at short. Jerome fielded enough ground balls for a couple of seasons in one game, and made plays on all of them. Jerome turned a few double plays, couple of catches, and solid throws to first all game. In a tight game that ended tied it was the defense Jerome provided that helped keep the opponent in striking distance! Great game Jerome!

Mike Garasi of the 206'ers sent a blast into the outfield for a lead off triple in the 7th. Shortly after he was the winning run in a close 6 to 5 victory over the hard to beat team In the Hole.

In a nail bite of a game it was Karli G. who came up big for her team with a shot to right field. It was a tight game all 7 innings and all the pressure was on Karli in a tie game at the end. With a runner in scoring position Karli had to drive the ball deep to ensure the runner had time to score, and she did just that hitting a deep shot to right resulting in a great win for her team!

One Shining Moment!
This weeks player of the week goes to Helen Kim and her terrific game changing plays in center-field. Helen awed the crowd and teams on hand with numerous outstanding catches. She let hitter believe they had just hit a multiple base bomb, and at the last second Helen would catch it for an out, and a long walk to the dug-out for the hitter. She made many great catches in tight games to help her team go 3 for 3, and crowned the champs. Great season to Helen and the rest of Jillians Bar!
