Just when you think summer finally hit Seattle, rain destroyed the good spirits of the Underdog mini-golfers last night at Interbay. For about 30 seconds, anyway. Once the putting started and the beer started flowing, these teams got down to business! The top 4 teams were putting their hearts out for the much sought after Champs title. At the end of the night, however, only one team could prevail and that team was Bunghole-In-1! They snuck into 1st place with the low score of 164 for the night.
Though they led for much of the season, Hairy Putter and the Supplemental Deuces came in 2nd with a score of 166, just trailing the champs. Third place went to Dimpled Balls with another close score of 167 and Angry Pirates round out the top spots with 194.
Along with putting hard came some hard won Spirit Awards! It's In the Hole came out on top for spirit, beating out Ho in 1 by only 2 Spirit Points. It's in the Hole won with their loud cheers and encouragement of other teams, as well as their dedication to theme nights. Ho in 1 brought the dance party and kept everyone entertained all season long with their enthusiasm and, of course, by getting everyone lei'd the last night!
