Spring Co-ed Flag Football at Seattle Center Sundays

It was a day of vengeance for championship.com. In their previous meeting, Team Sweet was on the winning end of a decisive score. However, championship.com was not going to be denied on Sunday. They came out firing on all cylinders and took an early 14 point lead. Things tightened up late in the first half, and half way through the second half, Team Sweet had come back to take the lead. But through it all, the steady hand of QB Neil Aguiling was able to keep championship.com in a position to end up victorious. On their final drive, Aguiling showed great composure, leading his troops down the field for the game winning score with less than a minute remaining. So while this chapter of the Team Sweet-championship.com rivalry is complete, there are sure to be more epic battles to come, possibly in this season's playoff round...

The Dojo's Angela Dubois was spectacular this week. She was an NFL star in the making. She had a passing TD that would make Matt Hasselbeck Envy. Then again she actually has a league to play in and wide receivers that can catch! In addition to this she also had a receiving TD. It was a one handed finger tip grab that she had to lay out for in the back of the end zone. Her contribution helped her team to a much needed victory on their quest to greatness!!!

In one of the best games of the day, one player stood out above all else. Paul Ryan led The QB Controversies in an epic 34-32 victory over The Dojo. Ryan's two touchdowns and two interceptions proved to be the difference in the narrow victory.

When championships are on the line, clutch players step up and deliver. Jen Norman defined the term "Championship Effort" with her performance on Sunday. Jen led the way in a very solid defensive effort by Green by sacking the quarterback twice on key plays, and also snatching an interception for good measure. On offense, Norman had the play of the game with a diving touchdown reception. When you add it all up, her contributions were pivotal in a 29-20 victory for Green and yet another championship.
