This weeks player of the week goes to the efforts of John Osterhout and his performance with the clock expired. John left the role of QB and went to receiver on the first night of league and had lots of success. It was John's play at the end of the game with time expired that sealed the deal for him. With a 3rd and gender at mid-filed with 2 seconds on the clock, his team needed a score. With a strong arm a the female QB position, John was able to catch the game winning TD and put a "W" in the winners column for his team. Great job John!

This weeks player of the week goes to Dmitri Mordekhov for his gun-slinging at QB. Dmitri picked apart the opponents defense with passes that hit his recievers on the numbers all night. After finding the gaps in the middle of the coverage, Dmitri also made 3 excellent deap passes hitting his players in stride. Dmitri also rushed for positive yards leaving defenders stuned and frozen as they missed his flags. Great game Dmitri!

3rd and Schlong
Donnie Holmes used his "golden arm" and some fancy dance steps to lead 3rd & Shlong to a win over Fluke of Nature. Holmes was able to avoid the Fluke pass rusher numerous times and throw pin-point passes to his receivers for 5 touchdowns. He also used some "Dancing with the Stars" moves to avoid would-be tacklers and skip into the endzone for a rushing touchdown. Donnie's outstanding play and great attitude makes him this weeks Player of the Week. Great Job, Donnie!

Who Dis?
Matt DeGooyer threw 3 TD passes and avoided costly interceptions leading Who Dis? to a 39-34 win over Chaos. Matt was able to complete key passes at crucial times, including the winning TD pass with less than a minute remaining in the game. He also made a number of key plays on defense, keying a big defensive stop on the last Chaos drive. It was an outstanding performance and earned DeGooyer this weeks POTW.

This weeks player of the week goes to Alex Rice for his Gun-Slinging performance. Alex lined up in the QB position and hit target after target as he threw for 5 TD's. Towards the end Alex's arm got a little tired from throwing darts at his receivers, he just ran one across the goal-line putting 6 TD's on his stats page. Great job Alex!

Dmitri Mordekhov threw three TD passes and had a key interception, leading XFL to a win over Chaos. In a game that saw limited scoring, Dmitri was able to direct his team down the field on key drives, while also milking the clock. His interception occurred as Chaos was going in to score a potential TD that would have pulled them within one score. Mordekhov had a chance to bring it back for 6, but flag guarded numerous times on the runback. It was a fine performance leading into the playoffs, now the big question is whether he and XFL can keep their momentum. Great work, Dmitri!

In one of many close games on the night, Paul Mennillio caught a TD pass with 39 seconds remaining, leading Chaos to a upset win over Yellow Fever. Paul, who recently turned the big 4-0, moved his feet like a 39 year old, cruising down the field like a gazelle. Well, then again, maybe a Bison. All kidding aside, Paul had an outstanding game, catching several key passes in addition to the game winner. Great job, Paul! Just think how good you'll be at 50!

The championship week POTW is Lyn McSharry. Lyn provided relentless pressure on the opposing QB in XXX Coverage's 56-28 win over 3rd and Schlong. McSharry's "nat like" pestering forced the QB into numerous uncharacteristic mistakes, notably 3 interceptions, including a pick 6. Lyn also caught a number of passes for key first downs. Great hustle, Lyn!
