Livin' on a Spare
Jesse is the keeper of the coupons, the messiah of the magic, the captain of cool for a team that is fresh off a huge, ginormous, phenomenal, epic Championship game where they steam rolled their competition and they are not slowing down this season!! They are ready to take on the spring season and lead the group in some world class bowling! Jesse started his season with a 173 and closed his night with a 176!! Never in all my years as a bowling supervisor have I seen such awe-inspiring and fantastical bowling from a better group of people. Keep up the awesome work Living on a Spare and in the meantime I will work to be a little more like you.

Deep Cheese
Rainbow Brite-bowling Delite-she was tonight!

The new comer to the Deep Cheese double rainbow wonderment is none other that the high roller for the night Elaine! She has her time to shine and boy did she ever, looking good, pretty in pink, Ms. Elaine started her night with a 165, a lady team high! and rounded out the evening with a 107. Very impressive work.

GOOOOOOOoooooooo DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP CHEESE!!

Also, we cannot not talk about the game between the Deep Cheese and the High Nines. It literally came down to 1 pin. In the first game, Deep Cheese took it by 5 and in the second game the High Nines had some high Strikes and defeated Deep Cheese by 6. Total pin fall goes to the High nines by 1. 1 pin. What a nail bitter!!

Most Improved this week goes to Elizabeth on Second Helping of Salty Balls, she started her season with a 23 and tonight rolled an all time high of 90!! Nicely done!!

Second Helping of Salty Balls
From the moment this vision in electric yellow track shorts, tall crisp white tennis socks and a mesh muscle tee walked in with his flowing chopped, sweatband abandoned hair I knew it was something special. I couldn't even think about his bowling, for all I could focus on was the mesh shirt over those rippling muscles.
Then in walked him hottie McGirlfriend in her destructed denim and roxette hair and I knew it was all over for me and I would have to focus on this bowling from here on out. Sigh.
Oh yeah, Erick got a 117 and a 133. And I will get to think about his flowing locks for the rest of eternity.

POTW: Morgan Herzog
The High Nines
The High nines High five + 4 Captain, cheerleader, and motivational member is this week's player of the week! Morgan is watching out for his team members, even with their open frames, and how many 9s in a row they can get (we might need to change the prize coupon for a whole game of 9s gets you something in honor...) also looking out for those turkeys and mini turks. Morgan is all over it with his pimp hat and is ready to pimp out his players for some prize coupons. Pimp on friend, pimp on. Oh, by the way, did you know that he owns the Beer Junction on Alaska Ave, head on in there, tell him Eliza sent you and you want to try his pimpest beer!

Second Helping of Salty Balls
When you think of TV in the 80's...teased hair, leg warmers and shoulder pads often come to mind. But the great thing about underdog theme nights is the creativity of the players. "A Second Helping of Salty Balls" rocked the lanes Wednesday dressed as:

AC Slater,
Screech (Samuel) Powers,
Zach Morris,
Lisa Turtle,
Jessie Spano, and
Kelli Kapowski....

The entire cast of "Saved by the Bell" (minus Mr. Belding) if you didn't know that, then you aren't old enough!

Being in the proper age group myself, I knew right away...and LOVED it.

Way to go on the creativity and not missing a single detail. Loved the Zach Morris phone, BTW!!!!!!
