Spring Co-ed Flag Football at Seattle Center Thursdays

Carolyn Diep wins this week's Player of the Week award for dominating her side of the field on both offense and defense. On defense, she had multiple pass breakups, even reeling in an INT to kill the opponent's drive. On the offensive end, she was simply a machine, coming up with catch after catch. She found herself open for a long bomb TD that capitalized the victory. Well done!

And with the first pick in the Underdog Draft.... the Indy #FF10 select....Christopher Robinson! Christopher is a lights-out defender capable of shutting down his side of the field on his own. The first round pick paid off, as he intercepted 3 passes on Thursday night, even running one back for a TD in a game where his team won by only 1 score. Well done!

Hot Dog! It's not every day a hot dog decides to play Underdog Flag Football, so when it does happen, we need to make a big deal about it. Jihee showed up in a full body hot dog costume (she was cold!) and played her heart out the best she could. It's hard not to be in a good mood when you are chasing a hot dog around a flag football field, and the entire mood of the game was in great spirits. At the end of the game, Jihee caught a TD pass to end the game, and everyone on both sides clamored for her to be the Player of the Week. Well done!

It was a Thunderous Thursday night and Thunder Next Thursdays is no longer looking ahead to next week as they finished off their playoff run in style with a 50-30 victory over the REBELZ. Dom Jones led the way for the winners, throwing 6 touchdowns.
