Account-a-bowl
Jeff may not have seen the inside of West Seattle bowl for a while but it was like two old friends at a high school reunion. They caught up and were back into the swing of things in no time. His first game was that of a well oiled machine, with his team cheering him on the whole way though his series of strikes! "he is going for the turkey!" "And the mashed potatoes!" "Get your gravy Jeff!!"

Opening night first game, spectacular 205!! Way to ring in a new season and a lunar new year! Not bad friend not bad at all!!

Team Edward
I would never describe a bowler's performance as "pedestrian". But somehow, Gary's performance seemed just that, although it was extraordinarily pedestrian. Maybe it was the way he started off strong in his first game, coming thisclose to starting off with five straight strikes. Maybe it was his excited, yet calm demeanor whenever he earned a prize ticket, as if he expected it, and thus, earned it. Whatever it was, it was good enough to lead his team to a win over Bowl Job.

The Keglers
This was a serious match up tonight, with The Keglers rocking their all black bowling shirts and Living on a Spare in their Underdog issued uniforms, these guys were on each other like their supervisor was on chocolate on Monday. Strike for strike, spare for spare they were going pin for pin. Dare I say this is a preview for the playoffs.... maybe. Either way DeJesus was key in picking up the win for The Keglers, with a 191 in the first game, closing it out with 5 Strikes in a row - he was clutch! I will be looking forward to another match up, I think Living on a Spare is counting down the hours!

Bowling Green
Wyatt and his cowboys and cowladies sure knew how to liven the place up, ride in on a horse. Now Wyatt wasn't doing the riding but he was wrangling up some nice pins. Calamity Jane, Marlboro Man, Wild Bill and the Red Ryder all saw Wyatt receive his first prize coupon and when asked about the evenings events, all he could attribute it to was the luck of the Irish cowboy hat - now that is a first!

Strike Rhymes with Bike!
Matt aka "shredder" came to play at West Seattle bowl. As a graduate of Western Washington University we already know about his smashing good looks, his debonair charm, and his amazing intelligence; but we learned last night that he also has some out of this world bowling skills! With so many strikes we lost track this man showcased some skills I am sure he didn't learn at Thursday night at the Up. Well done! Getting ready for playoffs!

Shout out this week to Bowling green for their super spirited outfits: who knew a team could ever recreate the WS bowl graphics so well! Awesome!!

The NFA's
Meredith and Mike rolling balls for bowling, k.i.s.s.i.n.g, first came a roll then came a ring, then came a proposal last week... that might not rhyme just right but either way it is a true story. After bowling last week Mike decided that there was no other person he wanted to bowl with. Only Meredith! I can already see the theme wedding: bowling pin ties, a bowling ball grooms cake, bowling shoes for the ladies and dancing the night away at the West Seattle alley. We could even have ten bridesmaids and put them in pin order.... something to think about.

Meredith do you take Mike to roll your strikes, in time of gutter and open frame? Mike do you take Meredith to spare it up with, to close out the frame and rock the Underdog nation with.

They do!!!!
