The Mothership Connection came to play on the opening night of the Fall Big Turkey Bowling league. Intimidating other players with their red capes and Elmo hats. One player rose above the others, Dorothy Hess. Although Dorothy may not have scored the highest score of the night she accomplished one great feat. Dorothy earned her first prize ticket EVER by bowling 4 consecutive spares. Hats off to Dorothy tonight. We look forward to seeing more from you throughout the season.

The Deep Cheese entered Imperial Lanes tonight with signs in hand for they came with a message, to Occupy Bowling. As they staked their clam on land they set up their tent for what would be their home-base for the night. Although they meant business one player shined tonight, Eric Suni. As Eric ended his first game with a 171 and a Turkey the sound of tambourine filled the air at Imperial. Congratulation Eric for your amazing game play tonight.

Leila had an incredible second game tonight at Imperial Lanes. Coming off her first game of 116 Leila was angry she wasn't going to let the defeat beat her. Stepping up her game Leila showed Suck It what she was made of one strike after another, after another, after another Leila started the first 6 frames perfect. Keeping the fire going Leila ended the match with an amazing score of 239. We can't wait to see what she does next week.

Spirits were high (and flowing freely from the bar) on this pre-holiday game night!

Turkey and stuffing anticipation was in the air all night long. In the spirit of giving thanks, USL bowlers were putting forth their best foot (even if it meant sharing shoes) in order to give thanks for winning on this cold and blustery evening. Due to this generous spirit of the players, there were turkeys being scored left and right! One such turkey-lover of note was Tim with Here for the Beer; he had a slow start to his first game, but came through in the end with three strikes in his tenth frame! Due to his festive showing, Here for the Beer took the lead against Jenna and Friends. Great job Tim and everyone else that made it out, and everyone have a safe holiday!

Bo "Jay"ngles was a dancing queen (king) tonight and earned his team a handful of spirit tickets! He was rather entertaining!

...and, though he was almost 3 sheets to the win; in the final frame of the night, to the amazement of his teammates, Jay bowled a turkey!! I think it must have been the addition of the 3" hoop earrings and bandana to complete his pirate costume!! Whatever it was, Jay you were awesome tonight!!!!
