Fall Gentlemens Flag Football at Seattle Center Sundays

In what was one of the greatest games in recent Underdog history, the Chiefs barely squeaked by Advocare, 40-39. The last two minutes were as frantic as anyone has seen in a long time. Advocare scored with 15 seconds left on the clock to take a 39-33 lead, however QB Vince Bray, and the Chiefs were undeterred. On the first play from scrimmage, Vinnie B threw a perfect pass down the middle of the field for a 30 yard gain. The Chiefs immediately called timeout, leaving 9 seconds left. On the very next play, Bray threw a touchdown pass to tie the score with 3 seconds remaining. Then on the conversion attempt, a Calvin Johnson look-alike went up for the ball and came down with the most important point the Chiefs may score this season, giving them a one point lead. It took one more defensive play to stop a Hail Mary pass, and when it was over, both teams looked across the field at each other with respect, as they knew they had just been a part of a great football game between two very good teams.

In one of the more exciting games of the night it was Tad O. of RX pushers who shined a bit brighter then the rest of the league. Tad faced a gritty defense in the #THEKENTCREW, but lead his team on 6 successful marches down the field. With both teams scoring at will while creating a highlite reel of fabulous plays, it was Tad's 6 Passing TD's that won the game and the player of the week. Great job Tad in your teams 40 to 32 victory!

This weeks player of the week goes to the big play of Jeff Wilson at the end of the game. With the score tied up at 20, Jeff Wilson came down with a big TD reception as time expired. The game went back and forth, but Rx Pushers left with the "W".

In a very tight game between Big Yac, and Rx Pushers, both QB's found their receivers all game. With the final score 40 to 38, one play can change the outcome and that play came from Jeff W.. With both sides struggling to stop the opposing offense in a high scoring game, Jeff was able to steal a opportunity from Big Yac with the games only INT. This INT earns Jeff this weeks player of the week for coming up big in a very tight game! Great job Jeff.
