The Heavy Setters & Dig in a Box faced off for the second time this season in the finals match. While Heavy Setters is a new name to Underdog, the faces are all from the past and have been strong competitors. Dig in a Box on the other hand is new through and through and have showed that they too are great competition. Game one was a back and forth battle. Each team had the drive to do great on both offense and defense and the 25-23 score proves that. The win pumped up the Heavy Setters that much more and they came out in game two with victory in their eyes. Dig in a Box was not going down without a fight, but had some passing issues that held them back a bit. It was a great fight, but the Champs t-shirts went to The Heavy Setters this time around.

The match up of Rough Sets II & Monkey Lovers was destined to be a great match. After each having big wins in their semi-finals match, the two teams were ready for a fight. As usual the two teams came out with big swings & blocks and lots of scrappy defense. It was a battle the whole time with the first game ending in a 26-24 score and the second 25-22. I can’t say what the key was to winning, other than sheer determination and heart. While both teams were well equipped with both, but apparently Monkey Lovers wanted it more. Once again the Monkey Lovers went home with the Champions title.
