The Heavy Setters & Dig in a Box faced off for the second time this season in the finals match. While Heavy Setters is a new name to Underdog, the faces are all from the past and have been strong competitors. Dig in a Box on the other hand is new through and through and have showed that they too are great competition. Game one was a back and forth battle. Each team had the drive to do great on both offense and defense and the 25-23 score proves that. The win pumped up the Heavy Setters that much more and they came out in game two with victory in their eyes. Dig in a Box was not going down without a fight, but had some passing issues that held them back a bit. It was a great fight, but the Champs t-shirts went to The Heavy Setters this time around.
On top of bringing her parents as a cheer squad Marcie was a cheerleader on the court herself. She has always been a great asset to the team with both encouragement and talent. Tonight Marcie was her usual self and helped lead her team to victory.
