Winter Co-ed Flag Football at Nathan Hale HS Wednesdays

In the best game of the night, Megan M shone the brightest, leading her team to a close victory over No Punt Intended. Megan was wide open all night, catching everything thrown her way. On the last possession of the game, she found her way open in the back of the endzone for a game-sealing TD catch. Great job out there Megan!

Megan "The Claw" Luk earns this week's Player of the Game for fighting through adversity en route to a victory. Megan was rocking a nice cast on her left hand, and her teammates dubbed her "The Claw". She played as if nothing was wrong at all, batting down 3 passes and reeling in a TD. Well done!

Dave Schmaltz gets our final player of the week of the season for his UGE catch in the championship game. With his team holding onto a one point lead inside of two minutes to go in the game, Monstars had a fourth and long to get or risk giving the ball back to Tenacious D with a short field. The QB put the ball where only the big man could get it and Dave caught right on the sideline tapping both feet in bounds. That clutch catch gave them enough time to run out the majority of the clock and they were able to hold on for a one point victory in the championship game.
