Turkey Hunters entered tonight tied for second place, but still 6 points behind the undefeated first-place Poppycocks. Game one was going to be a challenge.
Perhaps it was the finality of tonight or the spirit of competition - but the Turkey Hunters were not showing any nerves and stepped up to the foul line with confidence. Frame after frame, the machine set'em up and the Turkey Hunters knocked'em down! In an unexpected turn of events, the Turkey Bowlers beat the previously undefeated Poppycocks by 88 pins!
(Meanwhile, just 3 lanes over, I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter was securing their spot in the championship.)
Back up to Monday March 13. It was Sunglasses Theme night. It was also the first time these two teams squared off. Turkey Hunters lost both games.

The game was rolling! Both teams were closing frames left and right. I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter, one of the most exciting and excitable teams in the league, was notably subdued. The pressure was on!
At the end of the night, Turkey Hunters evened the score and finished 81 pins up.
