Blake Jendrusch
Wasted Potential
Blake J earns this week's POTW for crushing a mammoth HR over the left field fence for a 3 run HR, leading his team to a close victory. After going down 4-2 early, Wasted Potential roared back with 9 runs in the 5th inning, 3 of them on Blake's bomb. Congrats!

Rashi Goel
Wasted Potential
Rashi used some big kicks and timely bunts to get on base and then made the most of those opportunities with 2 runs scored in what ended up being a very close 5 to 2 victory for Wasted Potential. She also played nice defense at 2nd with a sweet catch on a line drive and another catch for a very close force out play. In a game where every play had a huge impact on the outcome, Rashi came through with enough of them to earn a well deserved player of the week.

Benny R.
Going yard!
This PN in the Outfield brought their A game and never looked back. Looking flawless on offense and defense they couldn't be stopped and their run production was off the charts! One of the main contributors was Benny and he racked up multiple hits along six RBI's! One of his hits was a open that absolutely blasted over the right field fence on to the street. With his offensive production Benny also brought great defense making catch after catch in the outfield on a rainy day making the performance even that more impressive. The way he was tracking down balls in the outfield, I would tell some of the Mariners outfielders to watch out for their jobs.

Player of the Week
Denny? I thought we were playing at IHOP!
Molly had a great game on both sides of the ball. She started it with an excellent running and juggling catch in center field that saved a couple runs in the 3rd inning. She then used some superb bunting to kick in a run and then had a nice kick for a base hit and a run scored. Best of all, Molly seemed to be having a great time out there. Thanks for playing hard and keeping it fun!

All-around Underdog
This week, Patrick displayed every quality that we love to see in an Underdog kickball league. On the playing side, Patrick was excellent, covering centerfield with superb range and sure hands. More impressive, however, was Patrick's consistent demeanor and good-natured attitude. His infectious smile and cheery disposition made everyone around him have more fun. For his sportsmanship and sporting ability, Patrick is our player of the week.

Brian Thomas
Win or Lose, Zags Still Booze
It may have been in a loosing effort, but Brian had a highlight reel, all-time greatest catch. Running towards the fence with his back to the plate, diving forward while trudging up a hill and made the grab to keep his team in the game.
Brian came to the plate in the bottom of the 7th. What had been up until that inning a 0-0 game, he found his team down by 1 with a couple runners on. In Joe Carter-esque fashion, he launched the pitch over the left field fence for a true walk-off homerun.
Daniel had one of the most outstanding defensive performances of the season. Helping his team to hold off Wasted Potential and win the championship.
Of particular note was a spectacular falling catch on the left field hill to take a way what was an easy RBI double ensuring his team the 8-3 victory and the championship.
