A tight, hard-fought playoffs lead to the N.A.D.S. roping in the championship with great defense by the whole team. Led by the defensive efforts of Jake Kinsley at 3rd base, Kinsley seemed to make it a one-man game when it counted, uniting his team in the clutch and making big plays. His defensive game appeared contagious, because soon after making amazing plays look routine, Carrie Runde also began showing off her athleticism with big catch after big catch at third base.
Gritty play by both teams stalled offenses in the championship game, which pitted N.A.D.S. against Kick Yo Couch Ninjas. Big red balls must have been difficult to hit late at night with the low-scoring affair between the two. But N.A.D.S. prevailed, winning 4-3 and completing a masterful season in the Wednesday League of Underdog Kickball!

Not to be denied completing their city-wide tour of kickball over the past years, SloRollers rallied from behind for a dramatic win in stunning fashion. A game of epic proportions that started off as a pitcher's duel, Manhandlers broke the game open with 2 runs in the 6th inning to take the lead 3-1. Taking the lead into the bottom of the 7th, Adam Donavan booted a huge 2-run game tying home run. Extra inning magic was all it took for Martha Linhoss and company to seal the deal and take home the championship. Notch in the books yet another championship win, the toughest yet for the SloRollers, but definitely the most deserved!
