On a rainy Wednesday where you would expect some sloppy play, The Snack Packs and Stinky Fingers turned in some great defensive plays. There was one play turned in by Mr. Aaron Heinzen that had both teams standing and applauding. Aaron had showed his range early in the game getting to all the balls in center to right center field. In the fifth on a ball kicked to the gap in right center, Aaron got a good jump on the ball, but it did not look like he would catch the ball. Instead of diving head first to catch the ball, Aaron slid and stuck out his leg to keep the ball from hitting the ground, the ball bounced off his knee up in the air. While still sliding, Aaron was able to catch the ball from his back. Everybody stopped in amazement and he received a round of applause from everyone on the field and other kickball players who saw the play. If the cameras had been rolling that is a play that would have been top play on Sportscenter. Keep up the great defense Aaron!
