Lucky Strikes
Honored for her pure, unadulterated determination, Lisa is the Player of the Week. There was a little slower of a start to the evening for her, which was brought to my attention by a loving friend of hers, thank you Jon. However, when that first pin fell, the game was on, the sweater was off (don't worry, she was wearing something underneath-it's not THAT kind of an adult league) and the beers were being drank.
We are talking double digit bowling and it was a night of personal bests for the season on lanes 5&6! These two teams, the Softies and the Lucky Strikes bowled like they have been friends for years... oh wait... this just in... they have been! No wonder this was such a rowdy group!!
Can't wait to see you next week all.

This weeks player of the week goes to Gina of the "British Bowl-Dogs". Gina hung in strong to help her team look good in the second game! She rallied from a 98 to a 145, helping her team get a point for the match. It was looking grim after the first game, but she carried her team on her shoulders with her 47 pin improvement between games. Great job Gina!

Rachel rolled in tonight with a solid 144 to kick off her first game! It must be something to do with the ninja wear as those pins were intimidated and just started falling down! At some point the tequila might have set us back a little bit, but she was still a solid contender in the high intensity second game as well!

Shout outs: to 6 Balls 3 Holes for the holey numb chucks! Most Improved Player of the week: Joe from the Lucky Strikes started his night with a 59 and had a 134 second game!! Softe, I don't even know that your ninja wear it is street legal but I love it!!

Not only is Randy a solid bowler, (you can count on him for a solid 120+ every week and multiple turkeys and mini turkeys or, as he calls them "turkey leftover sandwiches")But this man ate the meanest chicken wings I have ever smelled. When you can smell the spice permeating off the wings you know this is serious. Randy must stand for: Rolaids, Antacid, Now, Do, You.... feel the pain?? or something like that.

Shout out to Jon of the Softies beating his 10 year old all time high of 208 with an awesome 221!! Yea present day John!!
Also, shout out to Lisa of the Lucky Strikes: Week 1: 5 frames of not a single pin, no love. Fast forward 4 weeks: 117!! Oh yeah!

Brad McClure had turkey fever Tuesday night! BAM! Turkey! BAM BAM! Turkey! Who wants a turkey? Brad's got em! Brad was on fire with multiple turkeys, including a stretch in his first game when he got a turkey, helped his team gain a team Turkey, then got another one. He also started off his second game with six consecutive strikes on his way to a 228. Check out the big brain on Brad!

Jenna had 2 "Monster monster" games!! She was bowling her all time high of 187 and 197 and it was impressing everyone around her! The whole Splendid Splinters team was jazzed about her performance and can't wait to see a repeat next season!
