Late Fall Midcore Volleyball at First Baptist Mondays

JR had a very eventful night! Both teams he signed up for played at the same time but he honored the team that he signed up with first with his presence on the court. He had a great night both on offense and defense! JR had some amazing kills down the line and cross as well as some good digs in the back row. Even though he couldn't be on both sides of the court at once, he was good about talking to the Indy team through the net and cracking some jokes! Thanks for the great sense of humor and even better playing, JR! :)

Carol lead a very intense game, pushing her team 6 points past 25 with every ounce of her being. She showed her team what they can accomplish with pressure as well as the power of working together. Her contagious powerful attitude pushed her team through difficult games and ultimately allowed the dynamic of the team to strengthen. She was on fire the whole match with her passes and sets. Her great hustle and enthusiasm really shined through and showed what it truly means to be an Underdog. Keep on bringing your "A" game Carol!

Tracy found his power and used it to its full potential tonight as he was hitting up a storm! His spikes were aggressive and impressive as his left hand put a mean spin on the ball when he hit it. His team saw his fire and drive and made sure to set the ball to him first as he was dominating the court. Great work Tracy, keep up the Underdog energy!

Steven played amazingly tonight and helped lead his team to victory. Even though he is returning from the holiday break he was still able to stay consistent with his serves and blocks! Steven's sets were awesome as well as his teammates hits. But the best part of his performance tonight were his hits. Steven simultaneously hit in a very aggressive manner and placed the ball where it was sure to never be returned for a rally. Shout out to Steven for giving it his all!

Steven is a quiet leader on the court. His quick wit and beautiful sets led his team to a championship tonight! In addition to putting up some amazing sets, he also had some stellar swings on the right side that were almost always an assured kill! His fast feet and consistency were a great asset to the We Find Volleyball Enjoyable team. After the game, he was also the first to help me take down the net and help clean up the gym. I really appreciate your compassion on and off of the court, Steven. Great job and congratulations on the championship!!! :)
