Ah San Diego, a whale's vagina. Agree to disagree. Anyway, Ron Burgundy and the Channel 4 news team really pulled through in the spirit arena this season. They were always on. Always! From Nerds to cowpeople, to a 70s flash back, I could always count on them to come prepared and in costume. It seems natural that the ever so coveted green hoodie would, of course, go to the leader of the pack...Ron "Eli" Burgundy himself.
First and foremost, Ron Burgundy and the Ch 4 News Crew should be recognized for their take on this week's theme, Nerd Night. They went so far as to print shirts in different colors of the rainbow that displayed both a box of Nerds and the DOTL logo on the front. That is definite spirit.
Furthermore, I'll go on to say that Eli was single-handedly the best far and square golfer on the course this past rainy Tuesday evening. He sunk 3 holes-in-one without even breaking a sweat. It burns the nostrils.
See, *this* is commitment to a gimmick. Ron Burgundy and his crew have totally wrapped themselves in spirit and are now starting to distance themselves from the rest of the pack. Can they keep up the act for the next three weeks?
Not only that, but the team finished with a top 10 score for the evening. This is a team on a roll.
