Spring Big Turkey Bowling at Sunset Wednesdays 9:30pm

It was truly anybody's game in the Wednesday Night BTB league. Few teams had previous playoff experience, while the only returning champions- Gutterballs- found themselves on the outside looking in at the playoffs. We love surprises.

In the early round Lickety Split faced off against Green River Pin Killers, while the seasoned veterans Split Lickers took on the one-time Indy turned pro team -and surprise #1 seed- Pinstalkers.

Despite missing one of their better players, David, The Pinstalkers made short work of the Split Lickers, thanks to a strong game from Tom. Meanwhile the Pin Killers and Lickety Split were locked in epic battle, with a final score so close it was checked no less than three times to ensure it's accuracy. In the end, Lickety Split took the game by just 2 pins- 514 to 512! While the Pin killers were deflated and could only hope for redemption in their third place match, the Split crew were energized by their narrow escape and their first ever championship game berth.

Indeed, Lickety Split took their "lucky to be here" attitude all the way to the top, beating the Pinstalkers on their way down for the CHampionship win. The Green River Pin Killers- in their pirate garb- bested the Split Lickers- in their Ninja garb- settling the age old debate of Ninjas vs. Pirates. In the end, the Pin Killers could only wonder what might have been...
