T-Ball n Chain

Wiley veteran Brian Laager turned in another stellar performance on the diamond with his flashy outfield play and clutch kicking.
More than once I thought he had no chance to catch towering flyballs with the sun and wind in his face, but he made them look like a can of corn.
As the icing on the cake, he powered T-Ball n Chain to a victory with a legit homerun!

Getting the season started as the first weeks elite player earing the honors of Player of the Week goes to Maragret D. Maragaret played outstanding, and excelled both in the outfield on defense or at the plate moving runners and getting on safely all 4 times she kicked. Maragaret was the driving force in her teams 8 runs in a very tight game that ended 8 to 0. It was Margaret's defense that made the difference with great catches out in left-field. Maragaret's best catch came after she sprinted down a fly ball close to the line, and bobbling the ball around with onlookers gasping from her razzle dazzle catch she ended up making. margaret's all around excellence earns her this weeks Player of the Week!
