Congratulations to Eye Candy! As they had all season, they were consistant in their scoring, as they scored in every inning. That, along with good pitching and defense, allowed them to win a close championship game against a very scrappy Northwest Mutual team. Enjoy the Championship and we hope to see you soon.
Mike Pluhta not only pitched a lights out game on Tuesday night but he absolutely ripped it up at the plate to help his own cause. Using the long ball to drive in 6 runs Mike was on fire at the plate going 4 for 4 with a deep bases clearing bomb, 2 triples and a double. Some very aggressive base running got him into trouble on one occasion but other than that Mike dominated all night on both sides of the ball. Great job Mike and can't wait to see you in action again.
