It just seemed to be their night. The Pitchbook Panthers had to win 3 games in a row to take the championship. And that's exactly what they did, taking the championship in convincing fashion. They started early in the game when Mitch stepped up and booted a homerun scoring a total of 4 runs that inning. Their defense seemed to be air-tight and Where My Pitches @ had to work hard to get runs. As the innings went on the Panthers just kept scoring and shutting them down. Every inning their lead seemed to grow even if it was only one run. After it was all said and done the Pitchbook Panthers were champions and it was well deserved. It's quite an accomplishment if your team can win 3 games in one night. Great job Panthers and congratulations!
Even though her team did not win, you would not be able to tell by Tara Brown's attitude. She was upbeat and full of energy all night. Underdog needs more positive players like Tara. Great job!!
This weeks player of the week goes to Dianne M. for her outstanding all around play. When at the plate she got on base everytime in her double-header giving the opponents "D" fits. She was also a all*star on defense ot only making catches, but also starred down base runners who eventually returned to their bases. She was the all around player and a big key to her teams 2 and 0 night. Great games Dianne and great slide into second base!
