Last night's epic battle between Team Mooky Jakes and Sumner City was one of the wildest games of the season. Each team appeared to be in the drivers seat, only to relinquish control to the other. Sumner city was able to tie the game at 34 with 9 seconds remaining. However there was still time for at least one more play for Team Mooky Jakes. And one play was all they needed.
While it is unclear whether or not they were trying to score in two plays (as the Jakes had a few timeouts in pocket), the first play from scrimmage was a short pass that turned out to be a long one. Matt Razore caught a pass over the middle, and made about 15 illusive moves, and just as it appeared he was going to run out of gas, he was nearing the goal line, and had just enough juice left to scamper across with no time left. The Play of the Week belongs to the Player of the Week. Congrats to Mooky Jakes, and we'll look forward to seeing both teams in the playoffs next week.
