This weeks player of the week goes to Corey Wiggins for his duties at the QB position. In a game that went back and forth all game with 2 teams with high potent offenses, Corey found a way to win. Corey was responsible for 5 TD's for his squad, but it was the last one that counted the most as Just the Tip was trailing with under 2 minutes to play. Corey lead his team down the field with great passes, then capped the march off with a game winning TD rush as time expired. Great game Corey!

This weeks player of the week goes to Corey G. and his play on offense. Corey was a double threat on the field, lighting up the score-board with both his passing and rushing. Corey thew four TD passes, getting it done in the air, but when passing was not an option Corey rushed the ball with success as well. Corey had 1 rushing TD, and helped his team win a close game 34 to 34. Great game Corey!

Last night's epic battle between Team Mooky Jakes and Sumner City was one of the wildest games of the season. Each team appeared to be in the drivers seat, only to relinquish control to the other. Sumner city was able to tie the game at 34 with 9 seconds remaining. However there was still time for at least one more play for Team Mooky Jakes. And one play was all they needed.

While it is unclear whether or not they were trying to score in two plays (as the Jakes had a few timeouts in pocket), the first play from scrimmage was a short pass that turned out to be a long one. Matt Razore caught a pass over the middle, and made about 15 illusive moves, and just as it appeared he was going to run out of gas, he was nearing the goal line, and had just enough juice left to scamper across with no time left. The Play of the Week belongs to the Player of the Week. Congrats to Mooky Jakes, and we'll look forward to seeing both teams in the playoffs next week.
