Calling tonight’s Midcore championships exciting is an understatement. Both teams excelled and played their very best tonight, but Notorious DIG prevailed and rose to the top as champs. There was no time for warm up in the first set, for all players whipped out their hardest hits and jump serves. Blocks by both teams were out of this world. Notorious DIG realized how successful good tipping placement was against their opponent, and they utilized it. This pulled them ahead to win the first set. Their opponent returned in the second set with hits that were simply unstoppable. But Notorious DIG never gave up. They pushed back harder, with harder hits and bigger blocks. Many points and many long rallies later, Notorious DIG earns the final point, closing the final set and concluding as champions. Impressive skills were present on both sides of the net tonight.
