Team Spare Me went through the season at a steady winning pace, and when the playoffs came around they turned it up a notch when they needed to and that is why they are the new Wednesday league champions. No Splits Too Wide If You Got The Balls came in a surprising second after upseting the Gutter Sluts in the semi-finals. The Gutter Sluts recovered to take third place over XXX The Turkey's Done. The night may have been the toughest for XXX TTD, they put up the second highest score of the night in their semi-final matchup wiht Spare Me, but it just came at the wrong time. All in all, every team had a reason to hold their heads up at the end of the night.
For the second time this season, Jill Story is the POTW. A strong performance in the playoff rounds was more than enough to garner the honors. Without Jill, Team Spare Me would not have been able to survive the onslaught of XXX The Turkey's Done in the Semi-Finals, or No Splits Too Wide If You've Got The Balls in the finals.
As the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots trash talk back and fourth throughout the week, it only reminds The Big Turkey of how much he loves players who let their performance do the talking. Jill Story is one of those players. She her team in total pins and was her teams inspirational leader along the way. Congratulations Jill, you have THe Big Turkey's stamp of approval this week.
