Our balls your face up 3-2 with time winding down. Wine-o's some how pull off a 3 on 1 comeback win to tie it up at 3-3. The championship game came down to winner take all, after being knocked down to one person each left, a series of hard throws that were blocked. Ian Smith came up huge with a toss that curved in for the win and a Wine-O championship.
Back and forth duel for the championship. In what seemed like forever took a mere 4 minutes to complete the one on one duel. Ian riffled shot after shot, and blocked everything coming his way. Finally a curve ball made the contact that sent the Wine-o's to a place they have never been. The Championship of Dodgeball. Great job Iain!!
Iain had a great week of games this Thursday! He helped his team to victory with several incredible catches. There was one that bounce off his foot and popped right into his arms. Of course, it happened so fast, I called him out as it looked like it hit the ground. He had his cannon arm working to perfection as well. He threw lasers everywhere, up close, deep on the court etc., with such accuracy too! He's also a nice guy. He displayed great sportsmanship all while being a great competitor! Great Job Iain.
There were some honorable mentions such as Kenny Morrison from Our Balls... Great player, cool, calm and collected every week. Srini P from Blouses did an excellent job this week as well. Zahid from Minori had an excellent week. Too bad I could only give it to one person... everyone this week did an outstanding job. Give yourselves a pat on the back!
Walker was truely the MVP tonight helping lead the Wine-o's to a 7-0 win and an amazing 4-3 win. The Game against Bonecrushers tied at 2-2 Walker was the last man standing against 3 Bonecrushers. With precision throws he picked them off one by one helping his team take the lead for good. Great Job Walker!!!
