The Seattle Seattle Mariners had an exciting path to their championship title. Their game against the South Park Cows was a back and forth affair. In an offensive slugfest, the Cows jumped out to a 18-13 lead after 3 innings. The S. S. Mariners wouldn't go away though and after blanking the Cows in the top of the 4th, the Mariners scored 7 runs in the bottom half to take a 20-18 lead. The lead swapped hands after the next 3 half-innings going into the bottom of the 7th. The Mariners were down by 3 runs but never gave up. After pulling to within 1 run, Ashleigh stepped up to the plate and came up clutch. She ripped the cover off the ball to tie the game and then came around to score later in the inning for the winning run!
Ashleigh was a force to be reckoned with in helping lead the Seattle Seattle Mariners to the Championship in their bracket. She saved one run at home plate with a perfect tag on a runner that was trying to score. Then, with the game on the line, she came up clutch. She had a hit to tie the game up and then came around to score the winning run!
